RON WARD
"About the artist"
In 1975 Ron settled in the Kawarthas and started his own sign and commercial art business.
His commercial art includes logo design, posters and illustration.
Freelance commission work for a list of high profile clients included being the designer of
Peterborough's The Wolf Radio station logo.
Posters, murals, logos and illustrations for colouring books and retail products
have been used by The Friends of Algonquin Park.
While enjoying success as a commercial artist, Ron has always retained his interest in fine art.
Ron's work includes paintings in watercolours, acrylics, and oils and sculpture in various mediums.
His interest in canoeing and camping has been a great influence in his fine art subjects.
Ron has successfully displayed & sold his paintings and sculptures at many art shows thru-out eastern Ontario since 1986 and
now his work resides in various private and corporate collections.
